I came in off Royal Princess Cruise ship after 19 sea nights. I loved the location, the hot tub and body products, the ice bucket provided for my 1996 Grande Dame Veuve Clicquot and the high floor view overlooking Yokohama harbour and several cruise ships. I could also see fireworks from China town as I sipped my champagne.
The bidet is a nice warm experience as you sit on a hot comfy toilet seat.
I liked the pjs provided for me but they won’t fit you if you are bigger than a size 12 Australian sizing ladies.. the mini bar fridge is not cold but I managed to get someone to take the fridge plate out and fix it as I was paying just over $450 Australian per night x 3 nights. So I expected a cold mini fridge
I have stayed in Hyatts all over the world and the Hyatt in Yokohama is lovely. I had originally booked a corner suite by the recommendation of a telephonist but paid extra to get a king deluxe suite. After my own research found out the other suites had better views. The safe is quite lengthy and wide. The bathroom shower has excellent pressure. The hot tub is just that. A tub. If you have average to long legs you definitely can’t stretch your legs out. It’s a tub built for one. I still enjoyed the hot tub my heart rate was 98/146 after my bath. It triggered something. I really liked the turn down service I ordered on a couple of nights. It was like having two delightful fairies fly in and get down to business tidy up and replace anything required and fly out . Incredible and wonderful.

The Keikyu airport limousine bus to and from Haneda Airport made stop at this hotel. Staff at check in were very polite and friendly. One feature that many hotels have discontinued is the bell service where they’ve cut back staffing. Glad to say that this hotel still assist delivering your luggage, and going over the room features and answering any questions. Picked up our luggage at checkout and held until airport bus arrived. Subway was within a 5-10 minute walk for us.

We were there for the beginning of Golden week. Lots of people holidaying on the first weekend. It was quieter through the week.
The gardens were in full bloom around the city and very clean.
The waterfront was clean and many flower gardens a relaxed atmosphere.
Prices for food and transport were reasonable often less expensive than expected.
The hop on off bus was good but limited at stopping at museums and places of interest.
The trains were easy to use always asked. We saved the routes to phone and showed people. Who could read English but not able to express it.
We caught the city bus to Sankeiein Gardens. Showed bus driver where going and he told us where to get off.
The trains and buses have English destinations - next stop as they rolled over on the indication board.
The Sankeiein Gardens were peaceful and had a free English guide. Jim who did a fantastic roll with communication and he enjoyed what he gave as a volunteer.
We ate mostly in the underground resturants eateries with lots of choices. Less than 500 metres from our accommodation at the Shereton.
Overall as over 70's independant travellers we found it easy to travel around Yokohama if you take your time with language and have planned where you want to go. Our advice is ride with the tide. Be patient and understanding. Don't travell in the rush hour before 10 and and after 3pm.

Yokohama is a nice place to travel and explore.
Yokohama is a nice place to travel and explore. It is smaller than the big neighbour Tokyo but this gives it its charm. Great places are Yokohama station, Minato Mirai, Sakuragicho and Shinko. In Sakuragicho you can take the cable car to Shinko which is a great area to walk around, eat, drink and shop. The Red Brick warehouse is also situated there, where they host events all year round and you can find unique souvenir shops and restaurants.
Yokohama station at first it may feel crowded but the moment you get out of the station things relax. Inside the station itself you can find many shopping opportunities and lots of good restaurants with delicious food. Minato Mirai and Sakuragicho are fantastic places if you like walking by the sea, eat well, have a good cup of coffee and enjoy your time. The cup noodles museum is also located there which is definitely worth a visit to have some fun for an hour and create your own cup of noodles.

We stayed at the MinatoMirai which is walking distance to most of the attractions like the pier district, museums and Chinatown.
Totally different from Tokyo, much more relaxed and the pier district was wonderful!
There was also a yummy anchovy based ramen near the Yokohama Station .... can't remember what it was but it was yummy!
So many attractions and interesting places to explore. Totally recommend a few days exploring Yokohama.

Yokohama is a city brimming with interesting places to visit, delicious food to sample, and history to learn. Not only that, but I’ve spent a lot of time in Japan, and no where else did I find such friendly people!
My favorite bite was at Central Burger off the Ishikawacho stop. They serve an amazing American style smash burger that they’ve made completely their own. I had to leave the states to find a burger THAT GOOD.
I was sorry to leave this great city.

Yokohama, a gem among the cities I've visited, truly encapsulates the essence of a modern yet culturally rich urban landscape. The city's charm lies not only in its stunning architecture and well-planned layout but also in the warmth and friendliness of its people, a trait synonymous with Japanese hospitality. Strolling through Yokohama, one cannot miss the iconic landmarks that define its skyline – the majestic Sail Training Ship Nippon Maru, a beacon of the city's maritime heritage, and the towering Ferris wheel that offers breathtaking views. The city is also a sanctuary for those seeking a blend of modernity and tradition, with its numerous temples and historical sites providing a tranquil escape. Every culinary experience here was a delight; the restaurants in Yokohama go above and beyond to offer exceptional service, ensuring each meal is not just about the exquisite Japanese cuisine but also about the overall dining experience. This harmonious blend of urban sophistication and cultural richness makes Yokohama an unforgettable destination.
This could be one of the best hotels we've ever stayed in Japan.
It's located near the Shin-Takashima station (Minatomirai Line) - and we could even walk from Yokohama station through several buildings.
The check-in and check-out process were smooth and seamless.
The room we stayed was pretty spacious. There were two single beds, one table, and two chairs. They also provided some pillows for our convenience. The beds were comfy.
The bathroom was also quite spacious.
The TV has all your favourite apps, such as Netflix, YouTube etc.
It was a super nice view from our room and we can see the Cosmo World. The bed was comfortable and was able to ask the staff for additional pillow. The room is wide and we were able to move. Location is really good and we can ride the Minato Mirai Line just right down the hotel. Great access to Yokohama Chinatown and other restaurants. Overall the stay was great and my parents really loved it. The food selection was not that bad. Just good for breakfast. The staff down the restaurant was nice.
Standard Japanese hotel chain hotel room, i.e. clean, small, frienly staff and everything is fine. Location very close to Yokohama main station is a plus for convinience (as is the convience store with access via the lobby), though it is somewhat noisy. Windows block noise quite well, but it is a loud location (front are the train tracks and back are major motorways). I didn't mind at all, but for people who are sensitive to such things, this might a useful information.
What a beautiful hotel! Very clean and modern and we loved the fact that it had 2 Family Marts (convenience stores) inside the hotel along with several restaurants and a great spa. We appreciated all the amenities that were restocked daily. Breakfast was a mainly Japanese-style buffet which gave us the chance to try out the local food. The coffee/espresso machine was great. We also loved the view of the harbor and Yokohama Bay from our room.
Very very friendly staff, perfect location and I appreciated how nice and helpful they were! The hotel was beautiful. My room was very quiet and relaxing and I had a great sleep. The breakfast buffet includes American, Chinese and Japanese food. I will absolutely stay again. The hotel is also very convenient to transportation and you can walk right out into Chinatown. Thank you so much for the wonderful stay.
The hotel is clean and located 5 minutes away from Shin-Yokohama station. The room is on the small side but comfortable. The breakfast provided has a number options but caters mostly to a Japanese clientele (this is not a bad thing, but foreign visitors may find this different to what they are used to).
Overall this Hotel offers a good value-for-money accommodation.
Having a "bay view" room, the view was really great. The hotel is close to train and metro stations and within walking distance to the Yokohama Amusement Park and Pacifico Congress center. Breakfast is good, with Japanese and Western selections. Good and perfectly working room features, staff was very helpful with powerplug convertor and ironing board.
The room we stayed at was much bigger than expected for a Japan hotel, and that includes the bathroom. It is close to the train stations (9 minute walk to the local train and 12 minute walk to the JR line). Staff were extremely helpful. Breakfast buffet was also good and had a lot of choices. We were lucky to see Mt. Fuji from the reception area.
The property was a simple but clean and reasonable modern budines hotel. The building looked and felt new. The room was small but that is very normal for similar hotels in Japan. Clean bathroom. I was only the room to sleep which I did well. Decent location. Less than 10 mins from Sakuragicho station and the bars and izakaya of Noge
Surrounding area are mainly office buildings and there are many eateries, convenient marts etc
Shin Yokohama station is convenient to get around to other nearby areas
The staff is very helpful
The room is bigger than usual Japanese hotels
Nice amenities for ladies
The room was larger than some Japanese hotel rooms, was very well equipped, had comfortable large beds and a good bathroom. The staff were very helpful with enquiries and with pre-booking a taxi to Haneda Airport for 0530. I strongly recommend this hotel in Yokohama.
It was clean, quiet, near the places guests would like to go to like convenience stores, banks, and the train stations.
I love hotels in Japan! They’re meant for travelers to experience convenience. I wish the hotels in the Philippines were like these as well.
The room was comfy and slightly larger by Japanese standards. The subdued lighting was great since we needed some good rest.
Everything was good. Front desk agents are a plus and were friendly. We enjoyed our room for the amount of time we spent in Yokohama
Lovely and awesome stay I must say! My room has a breathtaking view of the harbour. In my personal experience, Japanese hotels are generally clean, this hotel is outstanding in terms of cleanliness and comfort.
staff was unbelievablr unfriendly and e.g.refuse to print a invoice..project ataff stay many times in the Future in yokohama, but never anymore in this hotel
